Who we are
We are a Ghana-based social venture that recycles cocoa waste into commercially viable Caustic Potash and Potash fertilizer using a clean and eco-friendly production technology. We work towards empowering women in cocoa-growing communities and engaging the entire cocoa-growing communities and farmers. Our entire approach is sustainable, environmentally friendly, and economically rewarding to the farmer, the local community, and our startup. Our goal is to help eliminate barriers to economic and social equality and help create better opportunities for cocoa-producing communities to be economically vibrant.
Our Vision
Our vision is to reach into every cocoa-producing country in Africa and build sustainable partnerships fostering economic prosperity for farmers, women, and families and, in so doing, boost the local production of organic caustic potash. We seek to build a sustainable business and foster economic prosperity for rural cocoa farmers, especially the Youth and Women.

What We Do
We convert cocoa husk acquired from selected cocoa farms into caustic potash, which we later use in the production of a Caustic fertilizer that farmers can use. This gives access to organic and less costly potash and potash fertilizer for cocoa farmers.
Produce pure and organic potash for local use, which is currently unavailable to most businesses and industries, and had to import them.
Our work involves forming community-based youth and equipping them with skills and tools for smokeless ashing of the cocoa husk into potash using our Kiln technology. We also empower women in cocoa-growing communities by training them in soap production and financial literacy.
We improve the living standards of farmers by creating jobs and economic opportunities, especially for women but also for rural farmers. We recruit and hire a diversified workforce, including more people of different beliefs, gender, and backgrounds.
Give back to our local communities to help Alleviate Poverty & Unemployment. Partner and work with organizations that prioritize equity and inclusion in their work.
Recycle
Recycle Cocoa Waste into Potash & Potash Fertilizer
We convert cocoa husk acquired from selected cocoa farms into caustic potash, which we later use in producing a Caustic fertilizer that farmers can use.
This solves the waste problem as well as climate change issues due to the husk emitting methane gases when left to rot. This also prevents black pod diseases endemics within cocoa-growing communities as the husk serves as a substrate for the bacteria that causes the black pod disease.
Empower
Skill Training & Livelihood Improvement Program
Creating a local value chain for potash and potash fertilizer (Produce pure and organic potash for local use, which is currently unavailable to most businesses and industries, and had to import them.
Our potash fertilizer is also hugely beneficial to cocoa farmers as it’s both organic and less costly. Aside from that, we have directly discounted prices on the potash to the farmers we work with.

Our Commitment
We are committed to giving hope to marginalized people, including teenage mothers, widows, divorced women, single mothers, and dropped-out women. We use local resources to empower marginalized groups and give access to local market goods. We are currently available in 9 out of 12 regions in Ghana. We achieve that by training women and marginalized groups and giving them skills to sustain themselves (soap-making & financial literacy).
We are also committed to creating a local value chain for potash and potash fertilizer (Produce pure and organic potash for local use, which is currently unavailable to most businesses and industries, and had to import them). This creates access to potash and potash fertilizer locally for farmers and manufacturers. Our technology can also be used to convert coconut, palm nut, and cashew nuts into potash.
At the same time, the potash is also used to produce cosmetic and sanitary products that we sell to generate additional income for our venture. Our potash fertilizer can also be used on multiple crops, including cocoa, bean, peas, etc. In the long term, we have even greater opportunities to use our potash in producing other potash-related products such as ceramics, glassware, chocolate, and rubber.
We combine people from various cocoa-growing communities in each region to converge for the training. We employ some of them in our soap-making and pod ashing, some work in selling our products, and some are empowered and guided to start their local own ventures.
Our commitment is not only to make a profit but also to invest in the people and communities where we work and to work towards recycling cocoa waste into commercially viable and locally needed products.
